INTEL CORE ULTRA 9 285K TRAY PROCESSOR

The Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 285K is a high-performance desktop processor from Intel’s Core Ultra Processors (Series 2) family, based on the Arrow Lake architecture. With 24 total cores — 8 Performance Cores and 16 Efficient Cores — and 24 threads, it is designed for demanding gaming, content creation, 3D rendering, streaming, multitasking and advanced AI workloads.

The processor features a 3.7GHz Performance-core base frequency and can reach a maximum turbo frequency of up to 5.7GHz through Intel Thermal Velocity Boost. Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 can reach up to 5.6GHz, while Performance Cores can boost up to 5.5GHz and Efficient Cores up to 4.6GHz. It includes 36MB of Intel Smart Cache and 40MB of total L2 cache.

Built for the new FCLGA1851 socket, the Core Ultra 9 285K supports DDR5 memory up to 6400 MT/s and provides PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0 connectivity with up to 24 PCIe lanes. This makes it suitable for modern graphics cards, high-speed NVMe SSDs and other advanced expansion devices.

The processor includes Intel Graphics with 4 Xe cores and supports up to four displays. Its integrated Intel AI Boost NPU provides up to 13 TOPS of AI performance, while Intel specifies up to 36 TOPS overall peak AI performance for the processor. It also supports AI software frameworks including OpenVINO, WindowsML, DirectML, ONNX Runtime and WebNN.

With a 125W Processor Base Power and up to 250W Maximum Turbo Power, the Core Ultra 9 285K is intended for powerful desktop systems with appropriate cooling and motherboard support. As a K-series processor, it is unlocked for performance tuning and overclocking.

This is the TRAY/OEM version of the processor. Intel officially lists tray ordering codes AT8076804D44 and AT8076806419, with TRAY specified as the shipping media.
