AMD RYZEN 7 9800X3D TRAY PROCESSOR

The AMD Ryzen™ 7 9800X3D is a high-performance desktop processor from AMD’s Ryzen 9000 Series, built on the advanced Zen 5 architecture and featuring 2nd Gen AMD 3D V-Cache™ technology. With 8 cores and 16 threads, it is designed for demanding gaming, content creation, streaming, multitasking and other performance-focused workloads.

The processor operates at a 4.7GHz base clock and can boost up to 5.2GHz. It features 8MB of L2 cache and 96MB of L3 cache, giving a total of 104MB cache. The large L3 cache enabled by 3D V-Cache technology is designed to provide very low-latency access to frequently used data, making the processor particularly suitable for gaming and other cache-sensitive workloads.

Built for the AM5 socket, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D supports DDR5 memory and PCIe 5.0, providing high-bandwidth connectivity for modern graphics cards, NVMe SSDs and other compatible components. AMD also supports EXPO™ memory overclocking, Precision Boost Overdrive, Curve Optimizer and Ryzen™ Master with this processor.

The Ryzen 7 9800X3D includes AMD Radeon™ integrated graphics with 2 graphics cores and a graphics frequency of up to 2200MHz. It has a 120W default TDP, is unlocked for overclocking, and AMD recommends a liquid cooler for optimal performance.

This is the TRAY/OEM version of the processor. AMD lists the official Tray Product ID as 100-000001084. For separately purchased tray/OEM processors, AMD states that warranty service is provided by the point of purchase/system builder rather than AMD directly.
