The AMD Ryzen™ 7 8700G is a powerful desktop processor from the Ryzen 8000 Series, built on AMD’s Zen 4 architecture. With 8 cores and 16 threads, it delivers strong performance for gaming, multitasking, productivity, content creation and everyday computing.

The processor features a 4.2GHz base clock and boosts up to 5.1GHz, with 24MB of total cache consisting of 8MB L2 and 16MB L3 cache. Designed for the AM5 platform, it supports DDR5 memory and PCIe 4.0, providing a modern foundation for performance-oriented desktop builds.

One of the biggest advantages of the Ryzen 7 8700G is its powerful integrated AMD Radeon™ 780M graphics, featuring 12 graphics cores with a graphics frequency of up to 2900MHz. This allows compatible systems to run without a dedicated graphics card for many everyday tasks and suitable gaming workloads, while still providing an upgrade path to a discrete GPU later.
