INTEL CORE I9 12900K TRAY PROCESSOR

The Intel® Core™ i9-12900K is a high-performance 12th Generation desktop processor based on Intel’s Alder Lake architecture. Featuring a hybrid design with 16 total cores — 8 Performance Cores and 8 Efficient Cores — and 24 threads, it is designed for demanding gaming, content creation, streaming, rendering, multitasking and professional workloads.

The processor features a 3.2GHz Performance-core base frequency and can reach a maximum turbo frequency of up to 5.2GHz, with Performance Cores reaching up to 5.1GHz and Efficient Cores up to 3.9GHz. It includes 30MB of Intel Smart Cache and 14MB of total L2 cache, helping maintain responsive performance across demanding applications.

Built for the LGA1700 socket, the i9-12900K supports both DDR5 memory up to 4800 MT/s and DDR4 memory up to 3200 MT/s, giving PC builders flexibility when choosing a compatible motherboard and RAM configuration. It also supports PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0, providing high-speed connectivity for modern graphics cards, NVMe SSDs and expansion devices.

With a 125W Processor Base Power and up to 241W Maximum Turbo Power, the i9-12900K is designed for powerful desktop systems. Intel also confirms that K-series desktop processors such as the i9-12900K are not shipped with an Intel thermal solution.

This is the TRAY/OEM version of the processor. Intel lists the tray ordering code as CM8071504549230 and the shipping media as TRAY.
